Vanessa Grimaldi Creates Touching Memento to Honor Her 2 Pregnancy Losses — More Here
Sending love.
Bachelor Nation fans first met Vanessa Grimaldi on Season 21 of “The Bachelor.” After her time on the show, Vanessa found love off-screen and married Josh Wolfe.
The two tied the knot on August 20, 2021, and welcomed their first child, Winston, together in September 2022.
In 2024, Vanessa shared the tragic news that she experienced pregnancy loss. And earlier last year, the Bachelor Nation star revealed that she heartbreakingly experienced another pregnancy loss.
To remember and honor them, Vanessa created a touching memento that she unboxed on social media this week.
In a new video, she shared, “Unbox a pinky promise ring I made to honour my 2 miscarriages. I decided to pick birthstones representing the months I found out about each pregnancy. Garnet for January 2024. “Diamond” for April 2025. A pinky promise to keep my two babies close, every day.”
Alongside the video, Vanessa explained the inspiration behind creating the beautiful pinky ring.
She said, “A pinky promise means forever. For the longest time, I wasn’t sure how to honour my two losses. I wanted something I could wear every day, something that carried meaning.🪽🪽For me, it was never about remembering the loss, but remembering that I carried them. They were, and will always be, a part of me. Honouring the day I found out I was pregnant felt like the most natural way to do that.”
Vanessa continued and expressed, “Sometimes people think I don’t want to be reminded of those pregnancies, but it’s actually the opposite. This ring lets me carry them with me and now, when someone asks about it, I get to tell their story 🥹”
The Bachelor Nation star ended her post with a note of love for others who may be going through a similar journey.
She said, “If you’re walking through this too, know there’s no right way to remember, only what feels true to you. Your love is still yours to carry. 🤍”
What a beautiful memento. We are sending Vanessa our love and we’re keeping her and her family in our thoughts.
