Joan Vassos & Chock Chapple Reveal a Possible Wedding Date, Moving in Together, and More!
Are wedding bells ringing?!
Bachelor Nation saw Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple fall in love and get engaged on the very first season of “The Golden Bachelorette.”
Since their time on the show, the two have been spending time together in their respective hometowns and traveling the world together.
Last year, a rumor circulated online that they had split up and Joan spoke exclusively with BachelorNation.com to clear the air and reassure they’re still together.
Now, the Golden couple has taken to social media to answer their “most asked questions,” including when they plan to get married.
In their video, Joan and Chock revealed while responding that they potentially might have a wedding date.
Chock shared, “In 2025, Joan had a big wedding for her oldest son, Nick. And then she’s got another one getting married this year, so we’ve elected to not compete with them. That’s what I’m saying, let them have their year. So you might look for something in 2027.”
Joan chimed in, agreeing, “Yeah, ’27. Hopefully nobody else will get married, but I think you have a son who possibly could, so we’ll see! We have grown kids and they just happen to be falling into that part of their lives too.”
The couple also shared their plans for moving in together and where that might be.
“One day we will. We haven’t figured out the city yet,” Joan said, “When I think about this question, I think it probably won’t be where I live. It probably won’t be where you live, [Chock]. I think we will probably keep our houses and we’ll have a love shack somewhere nice.”
Chock mentioned that his fiancée will be traveling to Florida in a couple weeks and has a feeling that might be a contender for where she’ll want to live.
The former Golden Bachelorette also talked about their blended family and how easy it’s been.
“I think that’s super easy because we have grown kids, so they’ve liked making friends with each other. Our girls get along great. Our boys get along great,” she said. “We got really lucky we didn’t have to really merge families. They are friends, so it was super easy.”
We always love hearing from Joan and Chock and continuing to see their love story unfold. We know they will tie the knot when it feels right, and for now, enjoy the engagement bubble!
