Taylor Frankie Paul Opens Up About Mental Health Struggles and Bachelor Nation Responds
Getting candid.
With her debut as the next Bachelorette just weeks away, Taylor Frankie Paul is opening up about her mental health in a vulnerable new social post.
In a compilation video showing emotional moments, including clips of her crying and glimpses of real-life messes at home, Taylor wrote, “There are signs of mental struggles other than the obvious ones, and one that took time to pick up on is… someone checking in is actually their cry for help.”
She then shared screenshots of text conversations between her and loved ones checking in on one another.
Alongside the video, she added, “I guess an upside of struggling mentally is you start to sense and see the signs of others feeling the same. We’re out here just checking in on each other when we can, and when we don’t respond it’s not taken personally because we get it.”
Taylor continued, “Just be mindful that sometimes that person checking in is the one needing help… and that one took me time to learn. I sometimes ask myself what’s the point of sharing this, and I tell myself it may be as simple as making someone feel less alone. If it helps just a few people, then it’s worth it.”
Bachelor Nation quickly filled her comments with love and support.
Nick Viall wrote, “Sending love 🤍”
Trista Sutter added, “Same. So much same.”
And Juliana Pasquarosa left heart emojis.
We’re sending Taylor so much love today and always, and her honesty will undoubtedly help others who are feeling the same.
