Tyler Cameron Dishes on Working with ‘Ex’ Hannah Brown & Teases Drama with ‘Bachelor Mansion Takeover’
Tuning in...
Bachelor Nation fans got to know and love Tyler Cameron as he looked for love with Hannah Brown on Season 15 of “The Bachelorette.”
As fans remember, Tyler made it to the top two before getting sent home in a heartbreaking goodbye during the season finale.
After his time on the show, Tyler found love off-screen with girlfriend Tate Madden and the two have been keeping followers updated with their lives since.
Tyler is now re-entering the reality tv world as one of the main judges — alongside Tayshia Adams — on the new design competition series, “Bachelor Mansion Takeover” on HGTV.
And it was recently revealed that Hannah will also be joining the show as one of the special guest judges. Now, the Bachelor Nation star is dishing on working with his “ex” in an interview with Decider.com.
While explaining why the Mansion was in need of a makeover, he said, “It has been 26 years since anyone has touched that house. All they do is just paint over what happened last year… You could see a different season in each layer of paint. Like, ‘this orange color was here when Tasha was making out with Colton, and this purple paint was here when Tyler was kissing Hannah.’”
Expanding more on Hannah, Tyler opened up about how it felt to work with her as a guest judge in addition to the other guest appearances we can expect to see.
“I just love seeing an ex,” he teased, “So it was nice to have Hannah Brown there. We had a great time. Jojo Fletcher was someone who I’ve always wanted to meet. I think she is such a star. Nate Berkus is iconic. It was truly a privilege to get to listen to these HGTV stars talk about design. It was inspiring.”
Tayshia chimed in during the interview as well and added, “It was also really cool to see Hannah back in the Mansion with me. We started there together, so it was really special to see the room where we stayed get transformed into this beautiful space. She was a great guest judge.”
The two judges then teased upcoming drama viewers can anticipate to see on the show, especially in regard to eliminations.
Tayshia said, “Everybody was a little upset about it. Some were especially upset when they found out that sometimes they would be determining who was getting eliminated. They were not prepared for that. In fact, Tyler took the heat for both of us. Someone yelled at him and said like, ‘We didn’t expect this!’ … You’re not going to get off that easy! If someone’s going to win $100,000, you best believe there’s going to be drama.”
Tyler added, “We have Bachelor Nation and HGTV coming together, which means that you get all the drama of ‘The Bachelor’ with the design and construction elements of HGTV. If you put those together… you should know there are going to be eliminations.”
We can’t wait to tune in and watch all the dramatic renovations unfold! Make sure to watch the series premiere of “Bachelor Mansion Takeover” tonight on HGTV.
