Daisy Kent Reveals Whether Fiancé Thor Has Watched Her Season of ‘The Bachelor’
Spilling the tea.
Bachelor Nation fans got to know and love Daisy Kent as she searched for love on Season 28 of “The Bachelor.”
After her time on the show, Daisy rekindled her romance with her college sweetheart, Thor Herbst, and the two moved into a brand-new home they built together in Las Vegas before officially getting engaged last year.
As fans remember, Daisy made it to the final two before going home during the “Bachelor” season finale.
And now, the Bachelor Nation star is revealing on the “Bachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hour” podcast whether her fiancé Thor has watched her season or not.
Podcast co-host Kathy Swarts asked Daisy if she and Thor remained friends after breaking up in college, and she revealed that they did keep in contact.
“I would say like me and him, we wouldn’t talk all the time and stuff, but we have the same friend group from college, so everyone was getting together for Halloween or we were having a Christmas party or a Friendsgiving. We would both always be there,” she said. “But I think since we were friends before we dated for a while, then we were able to go back to that. Because nothing bad really happened. We were just like, we’re better off as friends at that time in our life. I think we were both so young.”
Kathy and co-host Susan Noles then asked if Thor ever watched Daisy’s season after they reconnected, and Daisy answered candidly.
“Um, yeah, he didn’t,” she revealed. “No, he hasn’t watched it. I don’t think he ever will.”
Expanding more on her season, Daisy shared when she knew Joey Graziadei wasn’t the one for her and the differences between her experience on the show versus reconnecting with Thor.
“You’re in such a bubble and stuff, and me and [Thor] hadn’t talked in a while, so I think I was just kind of like whatever happens, happens and is meant to be,” she said.
“I think for me, the whole reason why I was so okay after I did the show was because the second I left, it felt like a huge weight got lifted off me and I was okay. And so right then I knew, okay, this isn’t the right person for me.”
Daisy continued, “Honestly, afterwards it was very easy for me to move on with my life and be okay. Yeah, so, I think it definitely is different, versus when me and Thor broke up, I was not okay and devastated.”
