Here's Why Hannah Brown Surprises Peter Weber on Night 1 of 'The Bachelor'
Hannah Brown returned to Bachelor Mansion for Peter Weber’s season of “The Bachelor,” but not for the reason many of the other women may think.
Sneak peeks of the new season show Hannah exiting a limo wearing a stunning red dress, much to Peter’s surprise. In another clip, Hannah and Peter talk one-on-one and he asks, “Hannah Brown, what I’m about to say is extremely crazy, but what would you say if I asked you to come be part of the house?” The other 30 women vying for Peter’s heart appeared less than pleased about her arrival. The drama is brewing!
Will the third time at Bachelor Mansion be the charm for Hannah, or does she have ulterior motives for showing up? Now, we finally know the answer.
ABC announced Tuesday that Hannah will host one of the first group dates of the season, where nine lucky women must share their “most memorable sex stories and fantasies.” Even better, the women will present in front of a live audience! It’s safe to say there might be a few windmill jokes scattered in there.

Later that date, Peter “discovers a distraught Hannah backstage,” where they have an intense conversation that “will leave them both as confused as ever.”
Bachelor Nation will have to wait another month to know the details behind that interaction.
The three-hour premiere flips the script on past season of “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette.” Peter will hold a rose ceremony on the first night, but the episode continues after that! Nine women join Marine Corps pilot Alisa Johnson and the first female pilot of the Navy’s Blue Angels, Katie Higgins Cook, for a group date at flight school.
Peter recently returned to social media to comment on his time as the Bachelor. On November 23, he posted a photo with his dog Tripp and teased, “Just got back from two months of the most insane journey ever... told my boy everything and he can’t believe it!”
The pilot also talked to Rachel Lindsay on part two of the “Bachelor Happy Hour” Friendsgiving episode that he feels thankful for the entire process. He said, “I’ve just been so grateful for the last couple months that, for whatever reason, I was chosen to have this experience and opportunity to find love in such a fun way, a once-in-a-lifetime type of way.”
Peter added, “I am definitely enjoying life right now. It’s pretty good — it’s been quite the journey so far.”
Season 24 of “The Bachelor” premieres Monday, January 6, 2020, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
