Hannah, Peter, Tyler, Jed and Luke traveled to Crete, Greece, after hometowns and then dove right into Fantasy Suite dates. Luke had the last date of the week and it all started off swimmingly. Luke said before they took a helicopter to Santorini that he felt “confident” in their relationship.

“I know she knows that I’m the one,” he told the camera.

Hannah, too, felt optimistic about their future and hoped that Greece could be a new beginning. “This is the Luke I’ve been waiting for this whole time,” she said.

Then the night took a 180-degree turn.

At dinner, Luke insisted, “Let’s talk about sex.” Hannah agreed. Luke continued, “Sex is an incredible thing, it’s a beautiful thing only when it’s within the guidelines of marriage.”

Luke told Hannah he felt as if they were “on the same page with our morals.” He also wanted her to confirm to him that she didn’t have sex in the Fantasy Suites. However, if she did have sex, he would “completely remove” himself from the relationship.

Alas, Hannah did have sex and subsequently removed him from the relationship.

After much back and forth, Hannah stood up for herself in one of the most empowering moments in recent “Bachelorette” memory.

“I don’t owe you anything at this point,” she asserted. “Do you not understand that? I have bent over backwards for this relationship. I don’t owe you anything… My husband would never say what you’ve said to me.
Before sending Luke off in the van, she fired back, “I have had sex and Jesus still loves me. From how you feel about me f—king in a windmill, you probably want to leave.”

On July 15, the night of the Fantasy Suites episode, Hannah tweeted, “when it rains, it pours. boy, get gone.”

Many of the men from Hannah’s season rallied behind her and commended her for her poise and assertion. People also pointed to the fact that Tyler’s “I respect your boundaries” moment was minimized because of the Luke saga.

Garrett Powell repeated on Twitter an unforgettable line he told Luke in Latvia: “Sweet dreams @luke_parker777.”

In reference to a back-and-forth between Hannah and Luke on Twitter, Garrett wrote again, “Get his ass queen.”

Dylan Barbour, who got sent home in Latvia, wrote, “go get ‘em HB. Your boys got your back.”

Connor Saeli added, “Game over Luke.”
