Colton Underwood Says He'll Give Cassie Randolph an Engagement Ring 'One Day'
Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph are happy in love, but that doesn’t necessarily mean she’ll be walking down the aisle in the immediate future.
The duo did not get engaged at the end of Colton’s season of “The Bachelor.” It was, in fact, the prospect of a proposal and Colton getting down on one knee that caused Cassie to leave the show. Colton fought for her and showed his loyalty to her by breaking up with Tayshia Adams and Hannah Godwin during the Fantasy Suites episode.
Colton and Cassie agreed on the show to take things “day by day” and move slowly, and that pace is working out just fine for the two of them.
Although Cassie did not leave the show with a Neil Lane engagement ring on her finger (she did receive one as a gift from Jimmy Kimmel), Bachelor Nation still stands strong behind them as a couple. Colton told People magazine, “She doesn’t have a ring on her finger yet. But she will one day.”
“Everybody’s sort of been on this ride with us and this journey with this. We want them to sort of come along and stay up with us, stay up-to-date.”
Colton praised “The Bachelor” fans and called them “amazing.”
As for where they’re at now, Colton said he “couldn’t be happier” about his relationship with Cassie. “We’re still dating and getting to know each other, and falling more and more in love every day. It’s been good,” he said. “The further away we get from the end of the show, the more realistic our lives sort of go back to being. We really get to spend more quality time with each other.”
