With these rings, they do wed!
Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo got married in a romantic ceremony in Cancun, Mexico, on Saturday night in front of friends and loved ones.
According to People magazine, the wedding took place at the Royalton Suites Cancún. The publication also reports that fellow Bachelor Nation members Astrid Loch, Kristina Schulman and Bibiana Julian were there. The three women also attended Rachel’s #CampCostaRachel bachelorette party in Costa Rica earlier this month.
There has been lots of anticipation leading up to Rachel and Bryan’s big day. On Thursday, the 39-year-old chiropractor posted a picture of the two of them sitting in the cab of a car. “Off to a little adventure!” he captioned it.
Days before that, Rachel shared on social media that she picked up their marriage license, and she simply looked over the moon about it.
Although many Bachelor Nation weddings are televised (we’ll see Chris Randone and Krystal Nielson’s on “Bachelor in Paradise” on Tuesday), Rachel and Bryan opted out for that. The Dallas native told People in an earlier interview that she “100 percent” wanted a televised wedding, but in the end it worked out for the best that it didn’t happen.
She explained, “As we got to know each other in the real world and things became normalized, and then I started hearing horror stories about these TV weddings, I am very thankful that we don’t have one and that we’re doing it on our own.”
Rachel shared on an episode of “Bachelor Happy Hour with Rachel & Ali” that the newlyweds had a very strict no social media rule at their nuptials. The attorney also talked about how her father-daughter dance would be more of a “playful vibe” than a “traditional” one.
We’re so happy for you, Rachel and Bryan! Congrats!
