This Prom Photo of John Paul Jones & Tayshia Adams Will Make Your Heart Sing
Chivalry is not dead. Repeat: Chivalry is not dead. Just look at John Paul Jones!
Hopeless romantic JPJ surprised his “Bachelor in Paradise” girlfriend Tayshia Adams with a “Paradise Prom,” noting that she never attended her own prom, which is truly considered to be a coming-of-age ritual.
Although their high school-era dance occurred on the beach in their 20s and not teens, Tayshia and JPJ (Jayshia? Tayshia Paul Jones?) traded in their bikini and Speedo for a cocktail dress and a suit. Tayshia looked stunning in a shimmering purple sleeveless dress, while JPJ was ever so dapper in his black sport coat.
JPJ (and producers) went all out for the big night. Nostalgic touches included a bowl of murky-colored punch (a must), a Polaroid camera (but of course), and a plastic gold crown (wouldn’t be prom without it).

On Monday evening, the 24-year-old posted a Polaroid photo on Instagram that showed him carrying Tayshia in his arms as she lifts her hand in a peace sign. JPJ’s wearing the crown while Tayshia rocks a prom queen tiara. He captioned it using his signature phrase, “Yaaaaaaaas Queen.”

Tayshia revealed to JPJ that she never went to her own prom because no one asked her. “I didn’t talk to boys in high school because I was nervous,” she said. “I was an awkward duckling.” JPJ was aghast at this news and could hardly believe it.
Their prom night may or may not be one of the most romantic things to ever happen on “Paradise,” and we’re here for it.
