Bio
Chicago native Joe Amabile is a former grocery store owner who quickly captured the hearts of viewers across the nation with his charming personality and smile when he appeared as 'Grocery Store Joe' on the 14th season of ABC’s “The Bachelorette.”
Joe continued on his journey to find love on the 5th season of “Bachelor in Paradise,” and soon after danced his way to the semi-finals of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” for which he later hosted a country-wide tour with the cast. Joe has since appeared in several live shows including the hit family game show, “Family Feud” and returned to the beach for season 7 of "Bachelor in Paradise" where he got engaged to Serena Pitt.
An avid food lover, Joe can be seen on his weekly YouTube and Instagram TV web series, “What I Order,” in which he travels around the country to showcase the best restaurants, coffee houses, bars, markets and tourist attractions in every city. When he's not on camera, Joe's in the kitchen concocting a new pasta sauce. His upcoming creation, Sundays with Joe, might just be the sauce that makes our next meal - and possibly the rest of this year - better.
Joe has an extensive background in improv, training and performing at various theaters in Chicago such as Second City, Improv Olympic and Annoyance Theater. He's a fan of comedy clubs and - you guessed it - the Chicago Cubs. Joe is passionate about charity work and enjoys working with the American Cancer Association.
