“You only live once. Why limit any opportunity to meet a man who could give me what I dream of… love and a family.”

This adventurous philosophy led 30 year-old pediatric physical therapist Trista Rehn to the hit reality series, “The Bachelor.” Beating out a field of 23 other women for the affection of one man, Trista ultimately didn’t make that particular love connection. However turn-about is fair play, and now she gets the chance to choose her potential mate via “The Bachelorette.”

Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, Trista was an outgoing tomboy who excelled in soccer, swimming and softball. Her family moved to St. Louis when she was just four, but by age 11 her parents divorced. Although she was only child, she spent countless hours with neighboring families and developed strong relationships with them that continue even today.

Trista graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Exercise Science. In 1995 she was accepted at the University of Miami, where she pursued her Master’s degree and graduated with honors. Her passion for dancing led her to successfully audition for the NBA’s Miami Heat dancers. She spent two seasons on their squad while maintaining a full time job at Miami Children’s Hospital.

Now living in Los Angeles, Trista prepares for the second chapter in the adventure of a lifetime – the search for true love.
