Synopsis

Hannah Brown caught the eye of Colton Underwood early on during the 23rd season of “The Bachelor,” showing him and all of America what Alabama Hannah is made of — a fun country girl who is unapologetically herself! Born and raised in Tuscaloosa, 24-year-old Hannah attended the University of Alabama and graduated magna cum laude with a degree in communications. She went on to become Miss Alabama USA in 2018 and used her platform to help others by becoming an advocate for those suffering from depression and anxiety, something she battled with during her teenage years.

Hannah began her journey as the 15th Bachelorette with the hope of finding her soul mate among an impressive group of 30 hopeful bachelors, all willing to bring out their inner beast in the name of love. As her journey continued, Hannah and her suitors traveled to beautiful locations in Rhode Island, Scotland, Latvia, and the Netherlands, with notable appearances from runway model J. Alexander, “RuPaul’s Drag Race” drag queens Alyssa Edwards and Alaska, actors Jason Biggs and Jenny Mollen, Danish pop band Lukas Graham, American country singer Jake Owen, and Boston Celtics basketball players Jaylen Brown and Terry Rozier.

After visiting the hometowns of her final four suitors, for the first time in “Bachelorette” history, Hannah took all four with her to Greece. There, her dramatic journey as the Bachelorette ended when she accepted a proposal from 25-year-old singer singer/songwriter Jed Wyatt.

Shortly after their engagement, Hannah learned that Jed had not been entirely honest with her about a serious relationship he had back home in Tennessee. After trying to make things work, Hannah officially ended their relationship July 30, 2019, on “After the Final Rose.”
