Synopsis
Chris Soules, a 33-year-old farmer who could actually drive a tractor before he could drive a car, grew up on a farm in Arlington, Iowa. He attended Iowa State University, where he studied agronomy and agriculture. He brought his skills back to the family farm, expanding the business and helping to make it the multimillion-dollar enterprise it is today.
Chris’ journey as the 19th Bachelor began at Bachelor Mansion, where he met 30 beautiful women. As the journey continued, Chris and the women traveled to exciting locations in San Francisco, New Mexico, Deadwood, and Chris’ home state of Iowa. They were also treated to surprise appearances from Jimmy Kimmel and country music duo Big & Rich.
After visiting the hometowns of his final four women, Chris and his final three traveled to the beautiful island of Bali for Fantasy Suites. Chris and his final two women then traveled back to Iowa, where they were introduced to his family. It was there, in a winter wonderland farmhouse, that Chris’ journey as the Bachelor came to end when he proposed to Whitney Bischoff, a 29-year-old fertility nurse from Louisville, Kentucky.
