These 'Bachelor in Paradise' Throwbacks Will Get You Pumped for the Season
“Bachelor in Paradise” Season 6 premiered Monday and is on again Tuesday, and from the looks of it, we’re in for a wild ride.
This season we’ve got a “love decagon,” love triangles, Demi Burnett revealing she’s interested in women, John Paul Jones in a Speedo and yelling at Derek Peth, Jordan Kimball being Jordan Kimball, and much more. Oh, yes, there will also be many, many tears.
The beach in Mexico is open for business with Chris Harrison at the helm and Wells Adams as the bartender. His ears are open and the glasses are full.
In honor of “Paradise” Season 6, check out some of the sweetest throwbacks and tributes to the show from past contestants.
Tanner Tolbert

Tanner and his wife Jade Roper met on “Paradise” Season 2 in 2015 and tied the knot the next year. They welcomed their daughter Emerson “Emmy” Tolbert on August 20, 2017. Happy almost-birthday, Emmy! On July 29, Jade gave birth to their second child, a boy named Brooks Easton Tolbert. Jade and Tanner shared on Instagram that Jade’s water broke and she delivered the baby in their master closet at home.
Joe Amabile

Grocery Store Joe Amabile and Kendall Long’s relationship on “Paradise” wasn’t all smooth sailing. On Season 5 of “Paradise,” the Chicagoan was all in on wanting to be with Kendall, but it took her a while to get on the same page. Now, the two of them live together Los Angeles and always seem to be jetting off to some far-flung destination. Can we come along?
Kevin Wendt

Kevin shocked Astrid Loch and “Paradise” viewers towards the end of the season when he blindsided and broke up with her. Their split, however, did not last too long because they got back together after the show. In December, Astrid moved to Canada to be with her firefighter beau. From the looks of it, they’re enjoying every moment.
Adam Gottschalk

Adam and his fiancée Raven Gates met on Season 4 of the show. The two of them decided to leave “Paradise” as a couple and explore their relationship, rather than get engaged immediately. Adam popped the question on May 31 in Dallas, where they currently live.
Tia Booth

Tia’s time in Mexico didn’t exactly go as planned. She focused primarily on her relationship with Colton Underwood, though that ultimately didn’t last. They had a very gut-wrenching and tearful breakup on the show, but they’ve since put their past behind them. Colton and Tia both have significant others now — Colton is in a relationship with Cassie Randolph from “The Bachelor,” and Tia is with Cory Cooper, someone from outside Bachelor Nation.
Jared Haibon

Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconetti’s relationship is probably the closest thing to a rom-com Bachelor Nation has ever seen. For years, Ashley was infatuated with Jared but the feeling never seemed to be mutual — until recently. They went public with their relationship just over a year ago and then, much to everyone’s happiness, they got engaged in June 2018. They’re set to tie the knot this month.
Chris Randone

Chris “Goose” Randone is a changed man thanks to “Paradise.” Although he was somewhat portrayed as a “villain” on Becca Kufrin’s season of “The Bachelorette” and in the beginning of “Paradise,” everything changed once he got together with Krystal Nielson. These two fitness enthusiasts became a “Paradise” power couple and got engaged on the show. They got married in June in Mexico at the site of their first date. The ceremony will air this season.
