Blake Horstmann Speaks His 'Truth' After Caelynn Miller-Keyes Confrontation on ‘Paradise’
Blake Horstmann is speaking out after an explosive two nights of “Bachelor in Paradise” episodes.
On Tuesday evening, Blake posted now-deleted screenshots on his Instagram Story of a text conversation between himself and Caelynn.
To rewind and give context to it all, Caelynn Miller-Keyes came to “Paradise” and said that she and Blake hooked up while at Stagecoach Music Festival in April. It turns out that he apparently slept with Kristina Sculman the night before as well. Caelynn claimed that she and Blake talked about being “exclusive” and “skipping ‘Paradise’ all together” but then he ghosted her. Caelynn said Blake was also messaging Hannah Godwin the day after they slept together.
Alleged texts between Blake and Caelynn appear to negate this side of the story. Blake allegedly texted her, “We can cuddle but no sex lol” and she replied, “Yes sex. Only sex. No cuddling.”

Another message from Caelynn read, “If i come over it’s strictly for sex. Nothing more nothing less.”
Blake explained his decision to release the texts, which he quickly removed from his Instagram Story.
He said, “Releasing the text messages was the last thing that I wanted to do. I know that it’s not good, but I feel like I had no other choice but to release those. I hope Caelynn can forgive me one day. With my name being attacked like that, I felt like I had no other choice.”
Blake’s video message continued, “Maybe some of that was edited and maybe they spliced together some of her conversations, but I don’t know. Maybe Caelynn can address that later. I’m not trying to attack Caelynn, I’m just trying to get my truth out there. I hope none of you go and attack Caelynn.”
Additionally, Blake wrote a series of notes that he posted on Instagram explaining why he shared the texts and how these past few months have been extremely difficult for him.
“I have a lot of insecurities I’ve been struggling with and lost myself this year. I’ve gotten in way over my head with women and have made a lot of mistakes and although never my intent, I hurt several people along the way,” he wrote.
Another note said, “I’ve felt a lot of shame and have been in a dark place for a while now and especially these last few months. It’s still something I’m working through.”
Blake said he takes “full responsibility” for what happened at Stagecoach and “will forever regret the decision I made that weekend." He penned, “The women involved did not deserve that.”
The Colorado native wanted to give more context to his side of the story about what happened with Caelynn. He said he “NEVER ‘sweet talked’ her at Stagecoach.”
He wrote, “Caelynn and I were NEVER in a relationship. I NEVER ghosted Caelynn, I NEVER called her a mistake and I absoliutely NEVER EVER EVER silenced Caelynn.”
