Colton Underwood Shows Off the 'Most Romantic Thing' He's Done for Cassie Randolph
Colton Underwood is out here to prove that chivalry most certainly is not dead.
The Season 23 Bachelor showed off a romantic gesture he made for his girlfriend Cassie Randolph while they were enjoying a night out together. Colton uploaded a slideshow on Instagram of himself posing with Cassie, who was in two places at once. The real Cassie stood alongside her boyfriend and smiled, while the other Cassie smiled in a photo plastered on his black crew neck T-shirt.
In his caption, Colton poked fun at the dramatic moment from his season of “The Bachelor” that definitely goes down as one of the momentous in the show’s history. He wrote, “You thought jumping the fence was the most romantic thing I’ve done for Cassie. try again.”

Colton defied the laws of gravity when he hopped over a very tall fence in Portugal moments after Cassie broke up with him and sent herself home before their Fantasy Suite date. She told Colton that night that she loved him but wasn’t “in love” with him, and she “wasn’t sure if I can get there.” Colton, in pure distress and needing a moment, effortlessly catapulted his body over the fence and wandered by himself in the Portuguese night. Minutes after Colton walked away, Chris Harrison uttered the unforgettable line, “He just jumped the f—king fence.”
Luckily for Colton (and fences around the world), he and Cassie got back together and have been going strong for quite some time now.
Cassie reiterated that in a recent Instagram post to quell any breakup rumors. On September 25, the 24-year-old wrote a four-page note about their relationship status and how they’re “good & happy.” She discussed the fact that they get pressure from the outside world to get engaged or dissect every minute detail, and that “adds stress to us.”
She wrote at one point in her note, “Colton and I are very happy and our relationship is in a good place. Is our relationship perfect? No, it is very normal with its ups and downs and compromises. Despite the microscope on our relationship, we are trying to stay focused on what is important and grow in the direction of getting stronger and closer every day.”
The speech pathology student added, “Colton and I are happy in our relationship and taking things at our own pace. At the end of the day, this is about the two of us and our real lives.”
Colton chimed in with the comment, “Relationships can be hard at times, but loving you is easy.”
Colton and Cassie have been together for just under a year, but they aren’t rushing an engagement. However, the 27-year-old envisions a ring. In August, he told People magazine, “She doesn’t have a ring on her finger yet. But she will one day.”
