Chris Randone wished his wife Krystal Nielson a very happy birthday on Instagram in a sentimental post. Krystal turned 32 on October 15, and he posted about her during their getaway to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Chris shared a slideshow of different photos — including one from their June wedding —  and wrote about what makes Krystal so special in his eyes. He began, “Just wanted to take the time this morning to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my best friend and wife @coachkrystal_.”

It continued, “There comes a time in life where you come across someone whose path intertwines with yours...Someone that challenges you, drives you crazy, loves you unconditionally, makes you better, is a great teammate, your lover, your best friend, and most importantly, someone you connect with on all levels energetically, emotionally, and physically.”

Chris said he’s “found all of that” in his wife and feels “extremely blessed” to be married to her. He concluded his note, “My wife has turned into my biggest fan, my role model, and someone I look up to each and every single day. I couldn’t imagine being on this path of life with anyone else and I’m excited for what’s to come. Happy Birthday my love, 32 years young has never looked so damn good.”

In her own birthday post, Krystal wrote, “Hey 32, this is OUR YEAR.”

Krystal and Chris have been soaking up their newlywed life together in San Diego. The happy couple got married June 16 at the Vidanta resort in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico. The spot held a special place in their hearts because it was the site of their first date and where they said, “I love you” for the first time. Their wedding aired during Season 6 of “Bachelor in Paradise,” and it was a beautiful ceremony that included sage cleansing (smudging) and, unfortunately, some drama(and facial expressions that caused quite the stir).

In August, Krystal and Chris called into “Bachelor Happy Hour” and discussed their post-“Paradise” relationship with Rachel Lindsay and Ali Fedotowsky-Manno. Chris said, “You hit every hard point in ‘Paradise,’ and when you get out of there, you take a step back and do the things that start and begin a relationship in the real world. Doing the dating, doing the normal stuff, and blocking things out really helped put a focus on what things matter the most in the relationship.”

Krystal shared, “Saying ‘I do’ and making that commitment to one another, I feel like our relationship is just in a completely different transcended state where we are a team and have each other’s backs no matter what.”

The birthday girl also talked about why Chris makes her “feel safe.” She explained, “For the first time in my life, I really feel safe. I didn’t experience that a lot growing up being with a single mom. It’s so great to have a strong man.”

She added, “I’d always dated people with perfect families in order to feel more full and worthy about myself, but I was really connected to someone who had a similar past as me to really understand me. It was really a friendship that blossomed into love.”
