DeAnna Pappas Writes Heartfelt Tribute to Husband on Their 8th Wedding Anniversary
DeAnna Pappas Stagliano and Stephen Stagliano are ringing in eight years of marriage together.
The Season 4 Bachelorette shared a picture of their wedding day on Instagram and wrote a heartfelt caption about love, marriage, and all the ups and downs that come with it. In the picture, DeAnna and Stephen kiss in the middle of a field with a forest in the background.
She wrote, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”
The caption continued, “Celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary today. I think back to this day 8 years ago, & it still stands as the best day ever. Surrounded by the people we love the most. Thank you to our friends & family who have walked alongside us these 8 years & prayed for our marriage.”

It concluded, “Marriage is not always easy & sometimes seems like we work at it every day, but I will grow old with this man & continue to work at perfecting it every single day. Because we are worth it.”
DeAnna and Stephen got married on October 22, 2011, in Palmetto, Georgia. Though DeAnna didn’t hand out roses to Stephen on her season of “The Bachelorette,” they have an interesting love story. DeAnna made it to the final two on Brad Womack’s season of “The Bachelor,” although he turned down the future Bachelorette and Jenni Croft. DeAnna became the Bachelorette in 2008 and gave her final rose to Jesse Csincsak.
Jesse and DeAnna split up six months before their scheduled May 2009 nuptials, but her own happy ending wasn’t too far off.

Enter Michael Stagliano. He appeared on Jillian Harris’s season of “The Bachelorette” (Season 5) but got sent home Week 7. Michael then introduced DeAnna to his brother Stephen, and the rest is history. DeAnna and Stephen are the proud parents of Addison, 5, and Austin, 3.
