The star-studded gathering was organized by the renowned celebrity event planner Mindy Weiss, who works with the Kardashian-Jenner family, Justin Bieber, Heidi Klum and more.Wells and Sarah’s engagement party featured stunning floral arrangements, custom cocktails and cookies, a mobile prosecco bar, and, of course, family and friends.

Attendees included Sarah’s “Modern Family” co-stars Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Ty Burrell, as well as Chloe Bridges, Debby Ryan and Ashley Newbrough.

Sarah looked stunning in a strapless Christian Siriano dress and white heels, while Wells was dapper in tan pants and a white shirt.

Sarah and Wells both posted photos from the party. In perfect fashion, they each had quippy captions. In one photo, the “Modern Family” star wrote, “Over 2 years ago, he asked me out for drinks and tacos. We still do the same thing now... just engaged... so Thank you @casamigos for keepin our dream alive with tequila.”

Wells hilariously replied, “Thank you @casamigos for continuing to help me seem bearable for over two years.”

The much-beloved “Bachelor in Paradise” bartender proposed to Sarah on the beach in July. On their anniversary on October 5, Wells romantically recalled how he felt when he first met Sarah. He wrote on Instagram, “I knew I was gonna marry her the 1st night I met her. But I guess how anniversaries work, it’s when you decide to become boyfriend/girlfriend. Whatever, I lost that battle.”

It continued, “You’re my person and I can’t wait to drop this day as our anniversary and make a new one with all our friends watching, while they judge our wedding and eat and drink for free...buncha deadbeats. Happy anniversary @sarahhyland, I love you more. +1 anything you say.”

In August, about one month after announcing their engagement, Wells gushed over his fiancée at the 2019 Teen Choice Awards. Sarah had the first televised performance of her song “Met at a Party” during the show, and Wells was overflowing with support and admiration. He captioned a photo of them at the awards show, “What can’t she do? Act ☑️ Dance ☑️ SING ☑️ Eat 3 bowls of salsa & still be hungry ☑️. Imagine the first time you sing one of your songs live, it’s at the#teenchoiceawards, nationally televised, and you absolutely kill it?!? I’m constantly in awe of my fiancée and yes, I know, she’s way out of my league. And I love that.”
