The Top 5 Bachelor Nation Moments of the Week
Bachelor Nation, we made it — Friday is here!
It’s been a busy week in Bachelor world, so it’s time to take it all in with a recap of the best and biggest stories from the past seven days. Check them out below!
1. Becca Kufrin and Ben Higgins will co-host “The Bachelor Live On Stage.”
Anticipation for “The Bachelor Live on Stage” just ramped up even more! On Wednesday, Becca Kufrin announced on an episode of “Bachelor Happy Hour” that she will be joining Season 20 Bachelor Ben Higgins as his co-host for the new show. “The Bachelor Live On Stage” kicks off on February 13 in Mesa, Arizona, and will head to 66 cities across the United States.
Becca teased the show by announcing that she and Ben have some choreography planned, which will make for the ultimate “Broadway-esque experience.” She told Rachel Lindsay, “It’s going to be a wild ride.”
You can check out which cities are on the tour and buy tickets to “The Bachelor Live On Stage” now. We can’t wait!
2. Hannah Brown comes this close to getting a perfect score on “Dancing with the Stars.”
There was a new Hannah Brown in town this week on “Dancing with the Stars.” The Season 15 Bachelorette and her dance partner Alan Bersten wowed the judges with their quickstep routine to a cover of Tom Petty’s “American Girl.” The pair received two 10s (Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli) and one nine (Len Goodman), and Carrie Ann called their dance “the comeback of the season.”
As we saw with this dance, there’s no stopping Hannah Beast!
3. Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconetti release their full wedding video
Anyone who watches the newlyweds’ video will definitely have some Ashley-level tears streaming down their face. On November 5, Jared and Ashley shared the full seven-minute video from their romantic and beautiful August 11 wedding in Newport, Rhode Island. The montage includes clips from the couple reciting their vows, Ashley getting ready, and the pair hanging out with their friends and loved ones. Get your tissues ready, because you’ll need them.
4. Andi Dorfman kicks butt during the 2019 NYC Marathon
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
Not everyone can run 26.2 miles, but Andi Dorfman sure can. Andi, Tyler Cameron and Shawn Booth were among Bachelor Nation members who participated in the 2019 NYC Marathon. Andi has been serving up tons of running inspiration for months, especially with her Andorfins movement. She took her followers along for the ride (rather, the run) as she trained for the grueling race, and she shared a number of social media posts afterwards about how much the marathon meant to her.
She wrote on Instagram, “On Sunday, I learned that there is a reason runners cry at the finish line. It’s not because it hurt, it’s not because it was hard (it is all of those things by the way.) But the tears come because after 3 hours 56 minutes and 17 seconds of grind, grit, and utter exhaustion, spanning 26.2 miles, you cross a finish line and don’t realize but rather actually know that anything is possible.”
Her caption continued, “You learn that the voice in your head that says you can’t ... is a liar. You cry because you feel that even if you might only have one accomplishment of the year, it’s one you can be proud of. But most of all you cry because you think about all the work that went into it and you come to the conclusion that above all ... hard work never, ever, ever lets you down.”
Those are some words of encouragement we can all take into the days, weeks, and months ahead.
5. Tayshia Adams opens up about her breakup with John Paul Jones
Tayshia Adams got vulnerable on a new episode of “Bachelor Happy Hour.” The “Bachelor in Paradise” alum joined Rachel Lindsay and guest co-host Becca Kufrin to talk about her recent breakup. Tayshia set the record straight and explained that there were many factors that contributed to their decision to part ways.
JPJ recently made the move from Maryland to Los Angeles, and Tayshia explained it was not just for her. She said he “moved here because he wanted to be an actor” and that he “was getting auditions and it was easier to attend those as opposed to flying out.”
She told Becca and Rachel, “Obviously John wants to be closer to me, but he did not move to L.A. for me. Since the very beginning — I’ve told my friends, my family, everyone knows this — I will not have someone move for me unless we are in a serious relationship, whether that be engagement, dating for four years, whatever it is.”
Tayshia added, “I just realized that last weekend was my first weekend home since late August. I had been gone every single weekend, every single minute. John working 9-to-5, me traveling a bunch, trying to squeeze in seeing him when I can, it was hard.”
