Joe Amabile & Kendall Long’s Japanese Vacation Was a Food-Filled Adventure
Joe Amabile and Kendall Long always seem to be on the move. Whether it’s roaming locally or flying to far-flung places, we can always count on Joe and Kendall for envy-inducing adventures — their recent trip to Japan included.
The “Bachelor in Paradise” couple ventured to Tokyo and Kyoto in early November. They documented their activities along the way, many of which revolved around dining on local delicacies. Joe and Kendall posted photos and videos during their trip featuring all types of foods, from sushi to pizza.
During one stop, Joe — who loves himself a slice of pizza and hails from Chicago — said he ate “the best Neapolitan style pizza I’ve ever had!” Additionally, Joe shared videos of himself eating “delicious banana bread,” octopus on a stick, and fried pork.
Their time in Japan wasn’t spent solely on food tastings. At the beginning of their trip, Joe and Kendall reunited with Yuki Kimura, whom they know from “Paradise.” All three friends posted photos and videos from their night on the town, which included dining out on the 50th floor and Joe eating monkfish liver.
Yuki won hearts on “The Bachelor Japan” and then “The Bachelor Winter Games.” She left “Winter Games” without a significant other, but was able to reconnect with her friends a few months later on the beach in Mexico. She joined Wells Adams behind the bar and served as a guest bartender for the season.
In one particularly fun-looking outing, Joe and Kendall visited Nara Deer Park, home to about 1,000 deer visitors can feed. Kendall uploaded an Instagram photo of herself giving some food to the animals, and, in an homage to “Snow White,” captioned it, “Living out my Disney Princess fantasies at Nara Park in Japan.”
