Peter Weber Is All Smiles as He Returns From 'the Most Insane Journey Ever'
Attention Bachelor Nation, Captain Peter Weber is speaking.
The Season 24 Bachelor returned to social media on Friday after a months-long hiatus due to filming the show. He posted a photo of himself holding his dog Tripp, and they both have identical smiles plastered across their faces.
Peter’s cryptic caption builds up even more anticipation for his season of “The Bachelor.” He wrote, “Just got back from two months of the most insane journey ever... told my boy everything and he can’t believe it!” Peter’s secrets are clearly safe with Tripp.
Many of Pilot Pete’s friends commented on the post and offered their best wishes. Mike Johnson, a fellow suitor from Hannah Brown’s season of “The Bachelorette,” wrote, “Missed ya homie!! I know you found your love.”
Chris Harrison also poked fun at Pete’s injury that he sustained in Costa Rica when he cut his face and needed 22 stitches. He wrote, “Welcome back. Where ya been son? You’re really a ‘cut’ above the rest.” The longtime host called the incident a “freak accident” in an earlier Instagram post as well.
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
Peter’s reemergence on social media happened not long after the show released his official poster and first promotional video.
Many former leads have been sharing words of wisdom for the new Bachelor. Hannah told “Entertainment Tonight” in a recent interview that it’s all about “taking those moments to really get to know the person without the cameras and to make sure that you’re really vulnerable and honest with each other.” She urged Peter to do that on her season of “The Bachelorette,” and it got him to the final three.
Hannah also hopes Peter’s journey was “a fairy tale and something he’s always been looking for.”
We’ve been told to “expect turbulence” on his season, but clearly only Tripp knows all the details about Peter’s smooth landing into his journey as the Bachelor.
Season 24 of “The Bachelor” premieres on January 6, 2020, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
