Krystal Nielson & Chris Randone Are Living Their ‘Best Lives’ on Birthday Beach Getaway
Krystal Nielson and Chris Randone’s spa days involve R&R and “living our best lives together.”
Chris posted an Instagram photo of the couple on Thursday lounging in robes at the Eden Roc hotel in Miami Beach, Florida. The couple traveled to the beachside hotel as a getaway for Chris’ birthday on December 13.
The “Bachelor in Paradise” couple’s warm-weather vacation comes just a few days after their six-month wedding anniversary. They exchanged vows June 16 at Vidanta Resort in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico, the location of their initial date and where they said “I love you” for the first time. The ceremony, officiated by Chris Harrison, aired on Season 6 of “Paradise.”
Krystal and Chris opened up about their wedding and post-”Paradise” relationship on an episode of “Bachelor Happy Hour” in August. Chris said, “You hit every hard point in ‘Paradise,’ and when you get out of there, you take a step back and do the things that start and begin a relationship in the real world. Doing the dating, doing the normal stuff, and blocking things out really helped put a focus on what things matter the most in the relationship.”

Krystal chimed in, “Saying ‘I do’ and making that commitment to one another, I feel like our relationship is just in a completely different transcended state where we are a team and have each other’s backs no matter what.”
She added, “For the first time in my life, I really feel safe. I didn’t experience that a lot growing up being with a single mom. It’s so great to have a strong man.”
The life and fitness coach opted to keep her last name rather than use “Randone” after their wedding. She told Rachel Lindsay while co-hosting an episode of “Bachelor Happy Hour” that she felt like changing it would be “giving away a part of my identity.”
Krystal elaborated, “It took me a really long time to really love and appreciate who I am today — Krystal Nielson, my last name — and taking ownership of that and everything that came with it. I’m really proud to be her. I didn’t want to be someone else. I wanted to be me.”
