Demi Burnett & Katie Morton Take on Rome Together
Katie Morton and Demi Burnett are taking a Roman holiday of their own.
The “Bachelor in Paradise” alums and best friends traveled to the Eternal City together on Wednesday, and have since been exploring all the historic locations and culinary options the city has to offer. Katie and Demi’s friend Brock Acosta also joined them for the getaway.
From the looks of it, their trip is already off to a fantastic start. Demi and Katie both posted photos and videos on Instagram of their first full day in Rome, which included riding around on Vespas and sipping on classic Italian apterativo, like Aperol Spritz and Prosecco, and snacking on Italian meats.

Their Vespa tour took them all over Rome, passing major sites such as the Spanish Steps. Additionally, the friends soaked up Roman history at the world-famous Colosseum.
Katie posted a photo of the sunrise over Rome, and their hotel looks out over Piazza Venezia, the heart and center of the city. Piazza Venezia is home to the towering Victor Emmanuel II Monument (also known as Vittoriano or Altare della Patria, which translates to Altar of the Fatherland), which is named in honor of the first king after Italian unification.
