Peter Weber & Kelley Flanagan Go Public as a Couple
Peter Weber officially has a new co-pilot.
The Season 24 Bachelor went public with his relationship with Kelley Flanagan over the weekend as they became an Instagram-official couple. Both Kelley and Peter posted photos confirming their relationship status, and their comments on each other’s photo say it all about their mutual affection.
Peter uploaded picture from the first group date of the season, where Kelley won an obstacle course challenge and ended up getting a one-on-one flight with the pilot. He captioned it, "You caught me. Let the adventure begin."

Some women from Peter’s season commented on the photo and expressed their happiness about the new couple. Kelsey Weier of Champagnegate fame wrote, "We will have to celebrate with champagne! 🍾"
Alayah Benavidez commented, "Cuties💕 love this for y’all 🙌🏻"
Kelley’s announcement appeared more subtle, as her photo didn’t include a picture of Peter but rather something for Peter. She shared a picture of herself and friends with the famous DJ Kygo and a music festival pass that he signed for her. He wrote on the pass, "Pilot Pete, don't be dumb. Pick Kelley!"
Kelley captioned the pictures, "Throwback to when I met Kygo in August and got him to sign this lanyard to gift to Peter on the show!"
Peter commented, "I finally got it right."

However, no one seems to be happier about this new coupling than Peter's mom Barb. She uploaded a collage of photos of Peter and Kelley throughout the season and captioned it, "❤️Serendipity❤️"
One person commented on the photo, "My choice all along," and Barb replied, "Mine too!!! From Day 1!!!"
Peter, too, often describes his relationship with Kelley as “serendipitous” because fate had big plans for these two. They met in Los Angeles before the show started when Kelley attended her friend’s wedding, which occurred at the same hotel as Peter’s high school reunion. They connected on the show, but Peter ultimately sent Kelley home right before Hometown Dates.
The world brought them together once again after the show. Peter told Becca Kufrin and Rachel Lindsay on an episode of "Bachelor Happy Hour" that they ran into each other in Miami during Super Bowl weekend and then again in Los Angeles. He got her phone number and they "started communicating."
Kelley and Peter first sparked romance rumors when they were seen in Chicago together with Dustin Kendrick. Peter confirmed later that he was quarantining with Kelley, but insisted that they were not a couple. He told Rachel and Becca, "We aren't dating right now. I can set that straight."
Peter explained he traveled to Chicago to keep Kelley company during quarantine and to help her through some tough times.
"She’s always been very supportive of me and I’ve tried my best to be supportive of her," he shared. "Some serious stuff ended up happening with her family, so she was in a sad place. She was by herself. Her roommates weren’t in Chicago and her family was in Florida, so I decided to fly out and spend time with her to take her mind off things."
He added, "If I’ve learned anything, it’s to take things extremely slow and not rush into anything. I just was engaged. I just finished up another relationship figuring out what was going to happen with that. We’re there for each other."
Congrats, Peter and Kelley!
