Peter and Kelley had actually met before "The Bachelor" aired, and he was pleasantly surprised when she arrived at Bachelor Mansion on the first night. Peter sent Kelley home in Chile right before Hometown Dates, but that wasn’t the end of the road for these two. They found their way back to each other and made their relationship Instagram-official after quarantining together in Chicago.

On Tuesday, the Season 24 Bachelor posted a Cameo video for a fan's birthday and said he would give the "inside scoop" on his new relationship. The couple have left the Windy City to soak up the sun in the City of Angels.

Peter was all smiles in his video, saying he believes "the whole nature of the show definitely works." Though he didn't end up with Hannah Ann Sluss or Madison Prewett in the end, Peter and Kelley nonetheless reconnected, and he has "The Bachelor" to largely thank for that.

He said, "I think specifically for the type of relationship for Kelley and myself, it just wasn’t the most organic type of situation for us that was going to work. That’s OK, because each relationship is different."

Peter repeated a saying his grandmother taught him and asserted, "It’s been kind of cool to see it still ring true and be so beautiful in a way I live my life. No matter what happens, let the waters run. What’s meant for yours is yours, and nothing will ever change that."

The airline pilot deemed their relationship a "beautiful love story," adding, "what’s yours is yours and it will always come back to you, no matter what."

That's precisely what's happened with Peter and Kelley. After "The Bachelor," they ran into each other in Miami over Super Bowl weekend and then again in Los Angeles a few weeks later. "In our relationship, we’ve kept coming back in each other’s lives, so it’s the way I look at it," he said. "It’s an unorthodox way, but definitely worked for us in the end."

Peter and Kelley went public with their relationship on May 2, and since then, they haven't been shy about their PDA and posting cute videos and photos together. On Tuesday, Peter posted a video of himself "flying" up from a pool and onto a balcony, where he plants a kiss on Kelley. He captioned it, "Lois Lane, did you call?"

On May 12, Kelley shared a picture of Peter holding her in his arms as they're both decked out head to toe in camouflage. "I know I’m a handful.. good thing you have two hands," she captioned it. She also posted a video of them golfing together and then sharing a kiss.
