Chris Harrison Surprises JoJo Fletcher & Jordan Rodgers with the Sweetest Gift
Chris Harrison is Bachelor Nation’s gift that keeps on giving — literally.
Monday’s episode of "The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons — Ever!" focused on JoJo Fletcher’s time as the Bachelorette and her love story with her fiancé Jordan Rodgers. At the end of the episode, Chris spoke with JoJo and Jordan in a video interview and said, "I’m very sorry we had to miss your wedding, but I have a surprise for you tonight."
Right on cue, their dog started barking. Jordan explained, "He’s the best dog. He’s silent all the time unless someone comes to the door."
In the background, JoJo yelled, "It’s my mom and dad!"
Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher then walk into their home with JoJo’s mom holding a beautiful cake. Chris said, "This is a little gift from the 'Bachelor' family to you guys. We just wanted to send our love."
The beloved host disclosed he wanted to have a "little wedding day celebration" for the couple. JoJo prepared for the real wedding by taking a piece of cake and rubbing it all over Jordan’s face. Moments later, he did the same.
JoJo and Jordan were due to tie the knot June 13, but they opted to postpone their big day another year because of the coronavirus pandemic. JoJo wrote on Instagram that day, "6.13.20 ... Happy 'What would have been Wedding Day' to us! As you guys know, we have spent the last 11 months planning the wedding of our dreams but given the circumstances of 2020, we had to make the difficult decision to postpone our special day."
Their original wedding date was scheduled for one month after their four-year anniversary. They both commemorated their special day by sharing funny videos of each other on social media.
Jordan uploaded a clip of JoJo dancing in their living room, and he captioned it, "Happy Anniversary to the best dancer I know. I love you more than words can describe, and in these hilarious moments of you, just being you...I fall in love even more. 4 years down and an endless lifetime of being weirdos together ahead! Love you @joelle_fletcher"
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
Similarly, JoJo posted a video of Jordan speaking in an Australian accent as if he were narrating a wildlife show.
She penned, "Yesterday marked 4 years with you @jrodgers11 — this is just a short minute of little moments that I am blessed with every day. You make me laugh, love me endlessly, encourage me to be brave, and always, without fail, are my biggest cheerleader. Also appreciate the fact that you still love me in my weirdest moments. (& like my dance moves) 💃🏻Can’t wait for what the rest of our lives have in store for us 🥰😘"
If Chris Harrison has anything to do with it, the rest of their lives together will be sweet as can be!
"The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons — Ever!" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
