Tyler Cameron Says 'Life's Been Dark' in Powerful Message About Resilience
Tyler Cameron is staying resilient amid tough times.
The Jupiter, Florida, native wrote a powerful note on Instagram Wednesday about the importance of healing and fighting back against the harder days. He posted a photo of himself smiling in the water, opening up about his mother Andrea Cameron's death in the caption.
Tyler began, "Life's been dark, life's been tough, life has seemed like a continuous beat down at times lately. One thing after another. But one thing I do know, life is still beautiful and the fight back is what makes it beautiful. My life has been dark ever since I've felt the coldness of death."
He continued, "I ain't been right. Simple as that. There's only one way out into the light and that is to fight, heal, fight, heal, and fight some more. But when I fight, I'm going to lead with love as I always have."

Tyler wrote about the importance of keeping a smile on his face "no matter how dark of times it is," calling the gesture "love and love is light."
He expressed, "I smile so those around me can smile. I smile because I want you to smile. I love those who support me and those who don't because I'll always lead with love."
Tyler's mom Andrea passed away February 29 at the age of 55 after suffering from a brain aneurysm. He wrote on Instagram that day, "Today heaven gained an angel. We will love and miss our mother dearly. She will live on through us and through those that she has had an impact on. While we grieve, we ask for two things: First, tell those you love that you love them; and second, please let us take this time to celebrate her life in private. Thank you for all of your love and support."
On Mother's Day, just over two months after her death, he uploaded a photo of her standing behind him as they both look off into the distance. "Always had my back. Still do. ❤️❤️❤️," he wrote.
Tyler has been quarantining in Florida alongside his best friend and Season 25 Bachelor, Matt James. Plus, Tyler said in June during an interview with People that his "mom signed [Matt] up" for the show.

During a discussion with Chris Harrison on a recent episode of "The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons — Ever!" Tyler provided some predictions for the upcoming "Bachelor" season.
Chris asked what type of woman Matt will go for, and Tyler replied, "You’re going to look for someone who resembles his mother. His mother is one of the sweetest ladies: very lovely, very willing to help and serve others in the community, and someone that’s ready to get on the ground and change the world."
