Ashley Iaconetti & Jared Haibon Relive One of Their First Dates in the Cutest Way
Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon picnicked on memory lane over the weekend.
The couple, who are nearing their one-year wedding anniversary, relived one of their first dates with a sunset dinner date at Los Angeles' famous Griffith Park. They picked up some burgers and hiked to a lookout spot as the sun set over the City of Angels.
Jared and Ashley both documented their evening on social media, but Jared explained in his Instagram caption why the date felt extra sentimental.
He wrote, "One of our first dates together as a couple was back in late March of 2018. We went to Griffith Park because that’s where Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone went to in La La Land."
Jared added, "Ashley even wore a yellow dress. Fast forward to today, we went back to the same spot for the first since being husband and wife. Ashley still wore the same yellow dress."

He posted a selfie from their Sunday picnic and also shared an image from their date two years ago in which Ashley’s yellow dress is seen peeking out from under a leather jacket.
It would only take two months after that Griffith Park date for Jared to get down on one knee and pop the question in Sayulita, Mexico. Ashley told Becca Kufrin and Rachel Lindsay on "Bachelor Happy Hour" in March that she had a "love at first sight" moment with Jared when they met on Season 2 of "Bachelor in Paradise."
She said on the podcast, "When I first saw him, I was like, 'Holy moly, love at first sight.' I didn’t even believe in love at first sight, even as much of a romantic as I am. Then, with Jared, he definitely looked at me like, 'Oh, God, that’s the dramatic crier girl. She's arrived.'"

Their first date isn’t the only part of their relationship Ashley relives. In January, she posted a screenshot from "Bachelor in Paradise" showing them kissing. She wrote, "Our first kiss!! While doing a deep dive in my photo album, I found this screenshot from 2015. I used to look at it before bed and try to relive it and now he snores next to me."
Ashley and Jared returned from the East Coast, where they quarantined with her family. They revealed on "Bachelor Happy Hour" that they'll likely move back east to be closer to their families when they start having kids. Ashley even promised in her vows she would "move back to New England because that’s how big of a deal it is to [Jared.]"
Jared shared, "Where your family and where your heart is, it’s really hard to stay away, especially when you’re in L.A."
