Uh-Oh! Jillian Harris Accidentally Threw Out Her Engagement Ring
"Trash day" had a different ring to it not long ago at Jillian Harris' home.
Jillian spoke with Chris Harrison on Monday's episode of "The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons — Ever!" where they discussed her time on Jason Mesnick's season of "The Bachelor" and what she’s up to now.
The two reminisced and Jillian shared a funny memory from one of the early days in the season.
She said, "I remember on that very first day, you had all of us line up by the pool. I was really naïve and I thought we would just be lying out all day and getting a tan, so did I shave my legs and armpits? No. Did I put on any lotion? No. Did I do my hair? I probably had nose hairs."
Jason showed up and they ended up all playing a game of chicken in the pool, and Jillian got paired with the Bachelor. She quipped, "He had to hang onto my hairy Canadian legs, and I still got the first date!"
Jillian called her first date with Jason "magical," because they attended a Robin Thicke concert at Disney Hall. She explained to Chris that Jason was "easy to fall in love with" because he's "an easy, solid, old-fashioned man."
She said of the Season 13 Bachelor, "He was, and still is, a very respectable human being. He didn’t seem macho or egotistical. He just seemed like a really nice guy. You really felt he was there for the right reasons and he really wanted to find a wife for himself and also for Ty. By the time he walked into the room, we were all clawing each other's eyes out to see who could get to him first."
Despite getting sent home in New Zealand after their Fantasy Suite date, Jillian and her fiancé Justin Pasutto are friends with Jason and Molly.
"A lot of people don’t know this, but I actually went and drove up to Seattle and decorated Riley's nursery before she was born," she revealed. "We've all hung out many times. Justin and Jason have partied together before."

Jillian became the next Bachelorette, and she divulged to Chris that she nearly turned down the offer before ultimately saying yes. She's glad she accepted because she called it an "incredible experience" and feels grateful to have "lifelong friendships" with her fellow Bachelorettes.
Jillian and Justin have been engaged since 2016 when he proposed to her on Christmas, a dream she's had forever. However, they recently ran into a bit of a sticky situation with her engagement ring.

She revealed in her interview with Chris, "I had this beautiful engagement ring, but it was missing a stone. Then COVID happened and we weren’t accepting packages inside. My ring came and I signed for it and I was signing for them outside and I was going through them. It was a chaotic day and maybe I was having a glass of rosé, but anyway, I threw out my engagement ring."
They were supposed to wed this summer (she even had her wedding dresses picked out), but the coronavirus threw a wrench into those plans.
The Season 5 Bachelorette is waiting for her new ring to arrive. She said she and Justin are hopefully getting married next summer. They have two kids, Leo and Annie, and summed up, "Life is good."
