The newlyweds brought a new baby home this week — a four-legged one. Chris and Lauren had their second "foster fail" as they fell head-over-heels in love with their foster dog, Chloe, and then adopted her. She's now the little sitter to their other rescue pup, Cooper.

Lauren confirmed Chloe's adoption on Instagram in a photo alongside her sister Mollie. She wrote, "The best auntie to Cooper and Chloe (formerly Kiwi). Yes, Cooper now officially has a sister (foster fail #2)."

On Thursday, the "Bachelor" Season 20 alumna posted a picture on Instagram of the new family of four. In it, she kisses Chris as Chloe sits on her lap and Cooper nestles under his dad's legs. She captioned it, "Fam!!!"

Lauren and Chris adopted Cooper in 2019, and since then he's had a prominent presence on her Instagram feed. In one especially cute video from November 2019, Cooper sits next to Chris at the table as they both eat breakfast. Chris puts his fork into his eggs and Cooper moves his kibble aside and attempts to sneak a bite of his dad's waffles.

Lauren captioned the video, "Live footage of me and Chris out to dinner."

While the Lanes love their canines, they're also hoping to expand their family to include more humans, too. In June, Lauren opened up on Instagram about her hopes of getting pregnant and starting a family soon.

She wrote, "Husband appreciation post. We got engaged about a year ago and y’all, I don’t know what I did to deserve this man. About to get personal but I am very excited to start a family and get asked when we are having kids ALL the time but it just hasn’t happened yet."

Lauren continued, ""When I was talking about it with Chris he said 'well, have you prayed about it?' I said 'well, yes' and he responded 'Have you really prayed hard about it. If that’s what we really want, pray, and know it will happen in God’s time if it’s what He wants for us!! I’ll pray with you!'"

Chris and Lauren are only a few months away from celebrating their one-year wedding anniversary. She and the country music singer tied the knot October 25, 2019, in Nashville, Tennessee in a "secret garden"-inspired wedding.

Lauren told People on their wedding day, "I'll have him by my side, through thick and thin, the good and bad, the challenges and all of the excitement. Just being able to call him my husband through all of that is very exciting."
