Rachel Lindsay Makes Her Debut as an 'Extra' Correspondent
Rachel Lindsay returned to television screens Tuesday when she made her debut as a correspondent on "Extra." The show announced August 27 that Rachel was "officially joining the team" after spending time as a special correspondent.
In a statement on Instagram, Rachel said she was "thrilled" about the opportunity.
She wrote, "They have an established, respected reputation and are a staple in the entertainment world. I have always admired the engaging, informed, and entertaining stories they bring to life. I am looking forward to joining this Emmy Award-winning team. I am excited to bring my voice, experience, and perspective to one of the best in the industry. I am so grateful. Stay tuned!!!!"
Though Rachel reported in remotely, she hit the ground running in her first segment. She interviewed Donald Trump Jr. about his book and asked him about his views on the Black Lives Matter movement, as well as some of his father’s actions during a recent visit to Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Congratulations, Rachel! We can't wait to see you rock it this season.
