'Listen to Your Heart' Cast Supports Julia Rae in Virtual Concert Fundraiser
This season of "The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart" may be over, but the inaugural cast members are still as close as ever.
On Wednesday, Julia Rae hosted a virtual concert fundraiser for her nonprofit, called Singing at the Top of My Lungs, whose purpose is "empowering hospitalized children through music, art, and play."
Julia’s concert featured many of her "Listen to Your Heart" friends, including Jamie Gabrielle, Danny Padilla, Ryan Neal, Rudi, Matt Ranaudo, and more.
The Pennsylvania native created the organization Singing at the Top of My Lungs because she was born with cystic fibrosis and credits music therapy as a vital part of her treatment. She wrote on August 27, "I was born with cystic fibrosis and grew up in and out of the hospital. Music was my favorite medicine. I founded my nonprofit @singingatthetopofmylungs to ensure hospitalized children can experience the healing power of music therapy."
Julia posted another picture from 2010 after giving Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia the first check from the nonprofit "to support their child life, music, and art therapy programs."

She shared, "These programs are not covered by insurance & are funded by donations. I know I wouldn’t be here if not for the outstanding medical care I’ve received over my life. And I also know I wouldn’t have had the confidence to pursue my dreams without experiencing the healing powers of music therapy when I was hospitalized throughout my childhood."

Singing at the Top of My Lungs raised over $21,000 in the fundraiser. Congratulations, Julia!
