Why Becca Kufrin Feels Like She's in a 'Magical' Place in Her Life
Becca Kufrin is heading into her 30s with a fresh outlook and the start of a new chapter.
Becca announced on a recent episode of "Bachelor Happy Hour" that she and her fiancé Garrett Yrigoyen broke up. A few days after that, she shared the exciting news that she moved to Los Angeles.
She wrote on Instagram, "After a crazy couple of months, I made the last-minute decision to sign a lease (sight unseen) in an area that I was totally unfamiliar with. But I’m here to embrace this new adventure and put down some roots in the City of Angels during this next chapter in my life."
The Season 14 Bachelorette delved a bit deeper into this new phase in a new episode of "Bachelor Happy Hour." Becca and co-host Rachel Lindsay discussed what it was like dating 30 men at once on the show, and Becca said she has a newfound philosophy when it comes to dating.
She said, "I was always in exclusive relationships. ['The Bachelorette'] was the first time where I could explore multiple relationships. Now I’m like, 'I’m 30. I’m ready to maybe be OK with not throwing all my eggs in one basket per se and be like, only you!'"
Becca explained she wants to "enjoy the experience that life and dating has to offer."
Rachel gushed about how there's "nothing like stepping into your 30s."
She said, "I know you’ve heard it before, but I can’t explain it. You wake up and you’re like, 'I get it.' There are so many things you did in your 20s that you leave behind, and there are so many things that come to you in your 30s, like wisdom, maturity, growth, and beauty. I can’t tell you what it is about turning 30, but it’s like a lightbulb going off. There is something magical about your 30s and I am so excited for you!"
Becca agreed with Rachel's assessment, especially the part about it being "magical."
Becca said, "When you just said 'magic,' that’s how I feel. It feels like this weird, magical spot I’m in right now. Maybe it’s because I moved to L.A. and it’s this new chapter, but it just feels like magic."
