Justin Sylvester’s Dream Bachelor Nation Gig Is a Genius Idea
There’s already a bartender on "Bachelor in Paradise," but what about a barfly?
"E! News" host Justin Sylvester joined Joe Amabile, Hannah Ann Sluss, and Tayshia Adams on a new episode of "Click Bait with Bachelor Nation" and pitched a new role for himself on future seasons of "Paradise." While chatting with the podcast hosts, Justin asked, "Can someone get me on 'Bachelor in Paradise?'"
Joe and Tayshia both looked for love on different seasons of "Paradise," and Tayshia inquired if Justin wanted to find someone to date or just be the bartender.
Hannah Ann said, "I think I see you being the bartender stirring up the drama."
Justin said being the bartender is "all I want to do," though he acknowledged he wouldn’t want to "take a job away from Wells Adams."
Rather, he suggested, "I can be the barfly who’s always sitting there drinking and you have someone to talk to while you sit at the bar. That’s my ultimate fantasy."
Justin thinks he would succeed in this role because, "there are a lot of things that straight men are afraid to ask women, but I don’t care! I’ll be in the hot tub just coming out of the water being like, 'Hey girl, I see you.'"
In terms of whether he’d ever be the Bachelor, Justin would do it but with one caveat: "I wouldn’t want to do it by myself."
He explained, "If I was the Bachelor and there were gay contestants, I’d want there to be a Bachelorette at the same time. That way, we can get dressed together, talk together. We could eliminate people together. Meanwhile, I’d be in the windmill the whole time."
