Peyton Lambton Posts Throwback from When She 'Made' Chris Ask Her to Be His Girlfriend
Peyton Wright Lambton celebrated Throwback Thursday with a look back on a pivotal moment in her relationship with now-husband Chris Lambton.
The "Bachelor" alumna posted a picture on Instagram of what’s likely a pre-cellphone selfie taken with a digital camera instead. In it, Chris holds the camera and sticks his tongue out while Peyton sits in front of him and smiles. They’re wearing matching sunglasses, too.
In her caption, Peyton wrote about why this photo holds so much significance.
She shared "Throwing it back to our first weekend together where I made him ask me to be his girlfriend. This was 10 years ago! Also note my blackberry on the table. ❤️"

In her hashtags, Peyton told people to "#askforwhatyouwant" and "#bedirect." Look where it got her! She and Chris have been married for eight years and are parents to two adorable kids, Lyla James and Hayes Jennings.
Chris reposted the photo to his Instagram Story and wrote, "Not sure how I talked her into marrying me and moving up to Cape Cod but truly lucky."
Chris posted a #TBT of his own, which showed the couple standing on the beach with their dog Summitt.

Peyton and Chris didn’t appear on any of the same seasons, but they nonetheless have a true "Bachelor" love story. Peyton’s fellow "Bachelor Pad" contestant Jesse Beck, who was on Ali Fedotowsky’s season of "The Bachelorette" with Chris, introduced the two at an event in North Carolina.
When Ali Fedotowsky's season aired on "The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons — Ever!" Peyton posted on social media and thanked Ali for "not choosing" Chris.
She wrote on Instagram, "Thank you to my amazing husband @chrislambton13 for being exactly who I know you are then and now. Thank you to @alifedotowsky for not choosing him and for being so graceful with his exit. Thank you to @chrisbharrison and the entire @bachelorabc @bacheloretteabc franchise for putting this all in motion for us."
Peyton concluded, "Without the show I’m not sure our paths would have ever crossed."
