Jade Roper Announces the Top 2 Baby Names from Her Bracket Competition
Jade Roper is 35 weeks pregnant, which means she and Tanner Tolbert are due to meet their baby boy soon.
In September, Jade turned to her Instagram followers for help picking out a baby name for their third child. She created a bracket competition with 16 names in it and asked the public to choose their favorites. Over the course of the last month, her followers have spoken and Jade has narrowed it down to the top two names: Reed and Jack.
In addition to Reed and Jack, Dean and Connor also made it into the top four. Other names in the bracket as a whole included Atticus, Forrest, Roper, Porter, Landry, and Baker.
Jade advised in her Instagram Story that she and Tanner will use their discretion to see if the baby "fits" with one of the names when he’s born. She feels confident, however, about her followers' opinions because last year, Brooks won the name bracket competition. Jade gave birth to her baby boy Brooks in July 2019.

When revealing the final four names, Jade said in her Instagram Story at the time, "One of my top contenders is still on the bracket, so I’m hoping so I’m secretly hoping you guys can channel which name I’m feeling."
In September, the "Bachelor in Paradise" alum shared that she was going to give birth at home — but not in her closet this time. She called that a "sacred" space for Brooks.
She said, "I was seeing a birth center and seeing midwives under an OB-GYN, but midway through my pregnancy, I decided to switch to a home birth."
Jade added, "I’m planning to probably give birth in our bedroom. I feel like that’s a safe place. I haven’t decided if I’m going to do a water birth or not, but I’ll have to go more into detail about that later."
