Dale Moss Clears the Air About His Infamous 'Best Man Suited' Comment
Dale Moss clearly is in good standing with Clare Crawley, but what about the rest of the guys?
Dale stirred the pot last week during the evening portion of the group date when he spoke with Clare first and then they disappeared for an hour before Eazy came knocking at the door.
After receiving the date rose and once the men returned to their living area, Dale said, "I wanted to make sure everyone has their time. I was the best one suited to be there for her. I felt the connection was really strong."
The men were not happy at all with that comment and pushed back. Now, Dale wants to clear the air about the remark.
Dale joined Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin on a new episode of "Bachelor Happy Hour" where he and Clare spoke about their instant connection on the show and what their future looks like.
Rachel called Dale out for his "shady" comment about being the "best man suited" and asked him to explain why he said that.
Dale began, "If there’s one thing I would’ve handled differently, it maybe would’ve been that situation. After the Yosef incident and Clare had to deal with all of that, it shook me a lot. I’m very protective of Clare and was from the get-go."
The South Dakota native shared that he has four sisters and is the only boy, and Yosef yelling at Clare "sparked memories" of the women in his life.
He said, "All the women in my life have dealt with physical or emotional abuse in some way, shape or form. I’ve been the one who has had to pick up those pieces."
In terms of his relationships with the other guys, Dale says he has "so much respect" for all of them, adding, "There's nothing but love and support."
Rachel then asked the most important question of all: Is Dale in the group chat?
He confirmed he is, in fact, in the exclusive group chat.
