Tayshia Adams & 'Click Bait' Hosts Open Up About How They Cope with Anxiety
Each person handles stress and anxiety in their own way, and the "Click Bait with Bachelor Nation" co-hosts are sharing the distinct ways they cope with the harder days.
Natasha Parker joined Tayshia Adams and Joe Amabile on a new episode of the podcast, and after talking about dating and burrito preferences, the three turned the topic to dealing with anxiety.
Tayshia explained that she uses exercise as her preferred method. She shared, "If something is stressing me out, I need to go on a run. I find myself pacing around my house and obsessing over something. If I go on a run, I try to make my feet work and breathe at the same time, so there’s no room for anxiety."
Joe, on the other hand, said pacing helps him.
Natasha's way of handling anxiety is the opposite of Tayshia's in terms of movement or Joe's way of talking it out. She requires meditation. "I need to work this out in my brain first and then I can talk to someone," she said. "I’ve had times where I’ve said the wrong thing too quickly because I was anxious about something. I need to collect it, figure it out, meditate on it."
The three of them also talked about whether they stress more about the past or the future.
Joe said, "Some days I get stressed on the past and I hate that. It’s never helpful. Stressing about the future, sometimes I feel it’s good because it puts a fire under your ass. Stressing about the past is pointless."
Natasha said she thinks about what's to come, whereas Tayshia admittedly worries about what already happened.
"It’s toxic," Tayshia expressed.
She said watching her season of "The Bachelorette" makes her rethink some of her past actions and stew on them.
She said on the podcast, "If I’m watching myself, I’m like, 'Why did I say that?' It’s really bad. I think this is something that’s come about more after being on the show. So many people are criticizing you and you’re like, 'Why did I say that? I could’ve avoided that. I could’ve done this differently.'"
Tayshia said she's trying to work on that mindset as the season progresses. "Who cares? I cant change it anymore. Let’s move on. That’s something I struggled with for so long," she shared.
