How Tayshia Adams & Zac Clark Spent Their First Christmas Together in NYC
A happy holiday! Following their engagement on last week’s Season 16 finale of “The Bachelorette,” Tayshia Adams and Zac Clark celebrated their first Christmas together in New York City.
After spending quality time with Tayshia’s family in Orange County, California, the newly engaged couple jetted off to the Big Apple, where Zac currently resides. Upon touching down in the city, Tayshia took to Instagram to let Bachelor Nation know that she was on the hunt for the perfect Christmas tree while her addiction specialist fiancé went out for a run.
Although she searched high and low, Tayshia eventually came home empty-handed, as she soon discovered that most New Yorkers snatch up their Christmas trees well before December 25. So, she later settled on a small (but adorable) succulent to put her presents beneath.
Later, Tayshia shared a sweet selfie with Zac to her Story, showing that — Christmas tree or not — the pair were just grateful to be celebrating together. “Cheers to our first Christmas!” she wrote alongside the pic, signing off with the nicknames they’ve affectionately given each other. “Xo, Clarky & the Queen.”
While speaking with former Bachelorettes Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin for the latest installment of the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast, Tayshia and Zac opened up about the excitement they felt leading up to their move.
“I’m going to be bicoastal,” Tayshia enthused. “I’m going to keep my place here [in California], but yeah, we’re moving in together!”
Zac — who originally hails from New Jersey but has lived in New York City for years — added, “Christmas, New Year’s, that whole thing, we’re going to be east and we’re going to give her a little East Coast holiday season. I’m excited to date her and take her out and do some things that you would typically do if this was a normal relationship.”
