Fun fact: New Mexico hosts the world’s largest hot air balloon festival. The Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta attracts over 866,000 people per year and has nearly 600 balloons and 671 pilots from around the globe. If you and your date travel to Santa Fe for the Fiesta, which occurs in October, visiting the balloons is a MUST.

Even if you don’t make it to the festival, you and your date can still travel sky-high in a hot air balloon. Use the opportunity to get away from all the stresses back down on the ground and instead connect with each other on a higher level.
