Kelley Flanagan Still Plans on Moving to NYC: 'Trying to Figure Out My Future'
Moving forward! Kelley Flanagan took to Instagram this weekend to let her followers know that she still plans on relocating to New York City despite her split from Peter Weber.
“2021 has been a rough start but if I’ve learned anything the last couple of days, it’s to keep pushing through no matter what life throws at you,” the gorgeous attorney wrote alongside a photo of herself wearing a yellow dress as she appears to be deep in thought.
“You can’t help what happens but you can choose how you react. It’s OK to not feel the best at times and honestly, it makes you appreciate the good things in life,” she continued. “The saying ‘when it rains it’s [sic] pours’ has definitely hit me with adjustments but this is just a chapter of my life! I’ll be in the Florida Keys until March then still making the move to New York!”
Added Kelley, “I’m excited to share my next chapter with you guys and I’ll try to be as open as I can knowing that I will hit struggles along the way. In the meantime, I am trying to figure out my future living situation in New York (searching for a roommate and apartment), spending time with my friends and family and focusing on my career! After of all of this, it’s been amazing to reflect and realize how grateful I am for all the good I have in my life!”

Kelley’s post received positive reactions from notable Bachelor Nation stars, including host Chris Harrison, who told her that she has “got this.” He assured her, “We’re here for you.”
Kristina Schulman called out the Illinois native’s dress, noting that its vibrant golden hue is the “color of optimism & brighter future ahead.”
Mykenna Dorn said that she is “so proud” of her friend, while Victoria Paul also expressed that “optimism and its color yellow both look so beautiful” on Kelley.
Days before Kelley’s life update, her ex Peter began his own move to the Big Apple. “I got all this stuff packed up here, ready to go. New York, we coming!” he enthused in a January 7 Instagram Story.
Peter and Kelley had originally planned to move to the city together before the commercial pilot revealed on New Year’s Eve that their relationship had come to an end. They began dating in the spring of 2020 after meeting on Season 24 of “The Bachelor.” The pair went on to spend a significant amount of time with each other as they quarantined at Kelley’s Chicago home during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in March.
“Love is a funny thing. It can make you feel on top of the world and it can make you feel a pain you wish didn’t exist,” Peter wrote in part when announcing his breakup. “I’m here to share that Kelley and I have decided to go our separate ways. While our relationship was filled with countless beautiful memories, our relationship simply didn’t work out in the end. Kelley is someone I will always have a special love for.”
