Dean Unglert & Caelynn Miller-Keyes Purchase a Home Together in Las Vegas: 'We’re Excited'
Making moves! Dean Unglert revealed that he and girlfriend Caelynn Miller-Keyes recently took a major step in their relationship by purchasing a home together in Las Vegas.
The revelation came during Monday’s installment of Dean’s “Help! I Suck at Dating” podcast, during which he spoke to fellow Bachelor Nation star Marquel Martin about his proposal to longtime love Kari Kaisner at Sin City’s Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa.
(Marquel — who appeared on “The Bachelorette” Season 10 and “Bachelor in Paradise” Season 1 — revealed his engagement news in December during an exclusive interview with BachelorNation.com.)
“Caelynn and I just bought a house out in Vegas,” Dean told Marquel, who lived in Nevada’s bustling city for years prior to settling down in Southern California. “Hopefully you’ll give us an inside line on some of the good spots out there.”
Dean went on to say that he and Caelynn chose a house in Las Vegas’ Summerlin neighborhood. “We know it’s an older community, which I think is good,” he shared. “We’re not trying to be in the sinning part of the city, but yeah, we’re excited.”
Dean, who originally hails from Venice, California, said that he and Caelynn, a Virginia native, currently live in Los Angeles but plan to make Las Vegas their “permanent residence” this spring. “We are moving in April, [which] is when the house is finished being built,” he divulged. “It’s not finished yet. But yeah, we’re going to stay in L.A., spend some time out in Vegas.”
Dean said that Las Vegas is the “perfect” place for him and Caelynn to live because “there’s a lot of courses, there’s great rock climbing, great mountain biking, great hiking — all those things that I like to do.”
The couple met on Season 6 of “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2019. Although Dean briefly put a halt to their romance and left the beaches of Mexico, he quickly returned to win Caelynn back and they eventually exited the show together.
The pair — who describe their partnership as “unconventional” — sparked marriage rumors last year after they were each spotted wearing rings on their left hands. Dean later shut down speculation, explaining that the rings were only meant to represent their commitment to one another.
“In my opinion, I don’t need the title of husband to show that world that I’m committed to one person, and so the fact that I’m wearing the ring is showing just that,” he told host Chris Harrison on “The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons — Ever!” in June 2020. “I’m committed to Caelynn and only Caelynn, and that’s why I’ve been wearing it for the past six or so months.”
