Lauren Burnham Slips Back Into Wedding Dress to Celebrate Anniversary with Arie Luyendyk Jr.
To commemorate her two-year wedding anniversary with husband Arie Luyendyk Jr., Lauren Burnham slipped back into the gorgeous gown she originally wore during their romantic nuptials in Hawaii.
“Anniversary tradition. She wears her wedding dress and I wear my tux,” Arie wrote in an Instagram Story on Tuesday, while Lauren enthused in her own post, “She fits!”
The couple celebrated their special day by renting a luxurious house near Arizona’s Camelback Mountain, not too far from their home in Scottsdale. It was there that Arie and Lauren enjoyed a delicious five-course dinner, a beautiful sunset, and a night full of watching their favorite movies inside the rental’s mini theater.
Less than a year after announcing their engagement at the end of “The Bachelor” Season 22, the pair wed on January 12, 2019, at Maui’s Haiku Mill in a breathtaking ceremony officiated by host Chris Harrison.
Arie and Lauren — who turned heads in a sparkling number with a plunging neckline — welcomed 100 guests, including such notable “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” stars as Marikh Mathias, Maquel Cooper, Jennifer Delaney, Jacqueline Trumbull, Jenna Cooper, Sean Lowe, and Catherine Giudici.

“Today is a very special day. It is our anniversary. Two years together, and in one breath, it feels like it went by like that, and in another breath, it feels like we’ve been together for a long time,” Arie said this week in a video on his Story.
“This year has seen a lot of couples spread apart and break up, but I think that, for us, it has kind of brought us closer,” he said of 2020, a year that was challenging for many due to the COVID-19 pandemic and unprecedented sociopolitical unrest.
“It’s crazy. We love spending time with each other, and quarantine has done us well,” the race car driver-turned-real estate developer continued. “I’m just really excited for the future and everything that’s going to happen this year with the twins and I’m really grateful that I have [Lauren] in my life.”
Lauren revealed in December that she is pregnant and expecting twins — who are due to arrive in June — following a devastating miscarriage in May 2020. She and Arie are already parents to daughter Alessi, 19 months.
