Katie Thurston Dishes on Bachelor Matt James' 'Great' Kissing Skills
She kissed the lead and she liked it! Katie Thurston stopped by “Bachelor Happy Hour” to chat with co-hosts Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin about her experience competing for Matt James’ heart on Season 25 of “The Bachelor.”
According to the TikTok creator, she and Matt shared a passionate smooch during night one of filming — not long after she introduced the handsome real estate broker to her purple vibrator named “MJ.”
“You didn’t get to see it, but Matt and I, we got to kiss. We had this moment,” she said. “It was exciting, because this is the first time I’ve just been able to be fully myself and he’s been accepting of that, including my night one entrance.”
This prompted Rachel and Becca to ask Katie about Matt’s kissing skills. As a large portion of Bachelor Nation has noticed, he has a habit of locking lips with his eyes open.
“I think he’s a great kisser, actually. I had a great kiss with him!” she said, adding that she was unaware if Matt’s eyes were open or not. “My eyes were closed. I wasn’t paying attention, so I couldn’t know.”
Matt laughed off the kissing criticism on Monday night via social media, posting a selfie with his eyes wide open and his lips puckered up. “Literally any kiss POV,” he wrote alongside the funny pic, accompanied by series of crying-laughing emojis.
