Clare Crawley Debuts New Pink Hair: 'I've Been Wanting to Have Some Fun'
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
Looking good, girl! Clare Crawley headed over to Instagram this weekend to debut her freshly dyed pink hair. According to the Season 16 Bachelorette, she had been looking forward to switching up her signature blonde locks for some time.
“I’ve been wanting to have some fun and (temporarily) change up my hair for some time now with a fun color. So I did it!” the beloved Bachelor Nation star wrote alongside a photo of herself flaunting her new ’do while wearing sexy black workout gear.
To achieve her bright look, Clare — a hairstylist by trade — simply used Celeb Luxury’s hair coloring shampoo and conditioner. The Sacramento, California, native went on to explain why the at-home treatments can be beneficial when considering a bold makeover.
“This is what I’ve recommended to my clients because they are just temporary,” she said. “So you can see what different colors you like without damaging your hair! The best part is you can do it at home yourself!”
Notable “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” alums showed major love for Clare’s rosy tresses in the comments section of her post.
“Looks gorgeous!” wrote DeAnna Pappas, while Clare’s ex-fiancé, Benoît Beauséjour-Savard, added, “Looks good.”
Meanwhile, Clare’s celeb pal Jennifer Love Hewitt remarked, “Love it!!!”
Although Clare has been on and off television since 2014 — having appeared on “The Bachelor,” “Bachelor in Paradise,” and “Bachelor Winter Games” prior to her run as the Bachelorette — she has always kept one foot in the beauty industry. Clare, who most recently worked as a colorist at Sacramento’s De Facto Salon, opened up about her love for doing hair in a May 2019 Instagram post.
“Would you be shocked if I told you I became a hairstylist over a decade ago, not because of hair?!” she wrote. “I did it because I love connecting with people and being able to make a difference in their day, even if just for the few hours they sat in my chair!”
Clare continued, “I kid you not, I specifically remember one of my beauty school teachers telling me I’d never be successful because I care too much what the client thinks. (Who says that by the way!?) Well, here we are years later, and I’m still obsessed with my job and surrounded by some of the most amazing clients and friends ever!”
