Matt James Gears Up for Dramatic Hometown Dates in Latest 'Bachelor' Teaser: Watch
Are you ready, Bachelor Nation? Matt James gears up for a dramatic series of Hometown Dates with his final four women — Serena Pitt, Michelle Young, Bri Springs, and Rachael Kirkconnell — as seen in a teaser for next week’s episode of “The Bachelor.”
“This week is everything,” Michelle states, noting the significance of Matt meeting her loved ones. Elsewhere, the gorgeous teacher from Minnesota explains, “My family’s opinion means a lot. I want them to ask the hard questions. It’s so important to get that stamp of approval.”
Bri is also “looking forward” to Matt meeting her family. “It’s a really, really big step,” she says. Later, she divulges to a loved one, “I haven’t told [Matt] how I feel about him.”
In another moment, Matt’s relationship with Rachael is seemingly challenged by the graphic designer’s parents. “I’ve never seen Rachael in love, so I’m not quite sure that that looks like,” Rachael’s mom says skeptically, while her father questions, “Do you think you really get to know somebody in a matter of weeks?”
Meanwhile, a loved one of Serena Pitt tells the stunning publicist that her chemistry with Matt appears to be lacking: “To me, you don’t seem smitten.” Serena is seen wiping away tears before she’s heard saying in a voiceover, “I’ve had this pit in my stomach.”
Another scene shows Rachael skydiving with Matt. As Rachael makes a rough landing on the grounds of Farmington, Pennsylvania’s Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, Matt admits, “Everything that I’ve been working towards is starting to crumble.”
