Khaylah Epps Buys a House in North Carolina: 'This Little Home Is an Extension of Me'
Home, sweet home! Khaylah Epps headed over to Instagram on Wednesday to announce the exciting news that she purchased her first house in her native Durham, North Carolina, at 28.
“I can’t believe a year ago I started looking for a home to call my own,” the stunning healthcare advocate wrote alongside a photo of herself looking comfy and cozy while lounging in what appears to be her living room.
“I never dreamed I would be able to buy a house all on my own but I did it and I’m so proud,” she continued. “This little home is an extension of me. It’s a colorful oasis that allows me to cultivate my creativity, nourish my soul, and to simply just BE.”

Khaylah’s homeowner status comes just weeks after fans fell in love with her on Season 25 of “The Bachelor.”
Though she didn’t receive a rose from Matt James by the end of Week 3, the vibrant contestant left an indelible mark on Bachelor Nation during night one when she treated the handsome lead to a sweet tea toast in the back of her pickup truck. The pair memorably bonded over their North Carolina upbringings, as Matt hails from the state’s capital, Raleigh.
“Let's toast to North Carolina roots,” Khaylah told Matt during the premiere episode. “For grounding us and bringing us together on this very special journey.”
While her fairy-tale romance with Matt may have been cut short, we’re glad Khaylah has since found her happily ever after in a castle of her own.
