Michelle Young Puts Bachelor Matt James in the 'Hot Seat' During Tonight's Hometown Dates: Watch
He’s getting grilled! Michelle Young puts Matt James in the “hot seat” on tonight’s anticipated Hometown Dates episode of “The Bachelor.”
As seen in a new teaser, the gorgeous teacher from Minnesota introduces the handsome lead to her adorable — and very curious! — students on a virtual call.
“Matt has put me through a lot. So, this my turn to now put him in the hot seat,” Michelle says in the clip.
Before entering Ms. Young’s makeshift classroom at Pennsylvania’s Nemacolin Woodlands Resort — where the entirety of “The Bachelor” Season 25 was filmed inside of a coronavirus-free bubble — Matt asks her, “You going to take it easy on me?”
Shaking her head no, a smiling Michelle leans in to kiss Matt. “Matt, I hope you’re ready — because class is in session,” she tells the camera.
Once inside, Michelle appears emotional at the sight of her students on a large screen. “Oh, my gosh, hi! How are you guys?” she says, beaming.
“OK, so these are some of my students,” she tells Matt before addressing her pupils: “I hear that you have some questions that you need to ask Mr. James. Is that right?”
Wasting no time at all, one student asks Michelle, “Is that your boyfriend?” The pair burst out in laughter before another presses, “Have you guys kissed yet?”
While they don’t give a direct answer to either query, Bachelor Nation is well aware that Matt and Michelle have developed a strong connection and, yes, they’ve shared some passionate kisses. A few of their smooches took place during a romantic one-on-one date, which involved an exhilarating hot air balloon ride that aired earlier this season.
“Man, this is incredible. The fact that Michelle had all of her students with us virtually was — I felt like I was in her classroom,” Matt gushes in a confessional.
In addition to spending quality time with Michelle and meeting her family, Matt will also partake in Hometown Dates with Rachael Kirkconnell, Serena Pitt, and Bri Springs.
Watch the sneak peek below — and see more of Matt’s journey unfold when “The Bachelor” airs tonight on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.
